Bachelors of Science in Education from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh

Peter, along with his wife Marilyn, founded Mersberger Financial Group, Inc. in 1994. Previously employed with another financial firm for nine years, the dream of owning and operating their own practice is what led to the origin of Mersberger Financial Group. Their sons, Joshua and Zachary, joined their family practice, Joshua in 2009 and Zachary in 2011.

Financial Planning: Peter focuses on planning for high net worth clients in the areas of wealth management, asset protection, estate and retirement planning, as well as devising money management and income strategies. Peter focuses on working with clients as their trusted advisor, organizing their financial lives, and creating customized financial plans designed to help them pursue personal and financial goals.

Educational Presentations: Peter conducts educational events throughout the year promoting progressive financial planning.

Strategic Firm Direction: As a member of the firm’s executive committee, Peter plays an integral role in setting the firm’s strategic direction and overseeing the firm’s daily operations.

Peter resides in rural Sheboygan Falls with Marilyn. In his spare time, Pete enjoys spending time with family, as well as fishing, hunting, skiing, hiking, snowshoeing, traveling, snowmobiling, waterskiing, and enjoying the beauty of the north woods.
