Financial Planning: With over 25 years of experience, Don focuses on working with clients as their trusted advisor in areas of financial, estate and investment planning. By focusing on his client, Don helps his clients set and achieve their financial goals by listening first, then developing solutions that put clients on the path to financial success. Don is also a member of MFG’s Investment Committee which focuses on creating investment management strategies and portfolio management.
Qualified Retirement Plans: Don has expertise in helping companies develop and maintain successful retirement programs for their employees and key people. Don is well versed in retirement plan implementation, design, and fiduciary compliance. He also helps plan participants understand the nuances of investing in their company retirement plan through group meetings, lunch and learns, articles, and one-on-one meetings.
Strategic Firm Direction: As a member of the firm’s executive committee, Don plays an integral role in setting the firm’s strategic direction and overseeing the firm’s daily operations.
In addition to his current activities, Don has previously served in leadership roles on numerous boards and committees including president of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Sheboygan County, Downtown Rotary Club Foundation, and City of Sheboygan Common Council. Don has also served as an adjunct professor at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh where he taught Business Risk Management and Insurance.
When he is not spending time helping clients, Don and his wife, Stephanie, enjoy spending time with their children, golfing, and spending time at the lake.
